In the ancient Celtic tradition, the colours of Yule (the Winter Solstice festival) are red, green, white, gold, and silver.

Traditionally, holly and ivy were used as Yule decorations to encourage Nature Spirits to join the festivities. Mistletoe, the Druids' most sacred plant, represents The Divine.
