"Carpe Diem"
watercolour on A3 paper
October 2015

I’ve been thinking about all of the incredible, strong-willed, and bravehearted women, out there, all around us, who are seizing the day, changing themselves from the inside out, and changing the world, one courageous act at a time. Feminism is more than the radical notion that women are people, it is also the act of actualising and cultivating the value of women as more than the sum of our reproductive parts, and being proactive in creating a culture of cooperation, communication, and mutual respect, not just for women, but between all human beings. This is our power, this is our beauty, this is our time! CARPE DIEM.
